Senate race forum is Thursday

A forum for the state Senate District 2 candidates will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Harbor at Holley Main Sanctuary, 4006 State Road 87, Navarre.
The forum is sponsored by the Navarre Patriots. It is an opportunity for District 2 residents to learn more about the candidates: state Rep. Greg Evers and Mike Hill, both Republicans.
The event will be a question-and-answer format with a meet and greet at the end.
Brooke Woods Smith of Navarre will open the forum by singing the national anthem. Ken Walsh, host of 1260 AM's "The Wake-Up Call," will be the moderator.
District 2 encompasses parts of Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, Holmes, Washington and Bay counties.
