Statement by Senator Greg Evers Regarding Today's Ruling on the Federal Health Care Law
Pensacola, Fla. — “Today’s ruling reaffirms what most people already knew; the federal health care law was an unconstitutional infringement on the freedom of individuals to make their own health care decisions. I applaud Judge Vinson for protecting Northwest Floridians from this overreaching federal mandate. Judge Vinson’s decision is a victory for the US Constitution in his wise recognition that it is alive and well as a boundary and a limit on Congressional power grabs.”
